Jaipur: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly assaulting a temple priest in the city over loud devotional music being played during a religious programme Friday night.Pandit Ramkrishna was conducting a puja at a temple in Ganesh Nagar Main on Niwaru Road when he was approached by a few people with complaints about the loud music being played.The argument that followed soon turned into a scuffle, with at least one of the men allegedly assaulting Ramkrishna. Police said they examined CCTV footage of the incident following a complaint by the priest and arrested two persons, identified as Harish and Devansh, for breach of peace.Members of the priest’s family gathered outside Kardhani police station Sunday demanding strict action against the accused.
