Jaipur: The 35th Rajiv Gandhi Memorial T20 Cricket tournament will commence at the Railways Ground here on Wednesday. A total of 8 teams registered with the Jaipur District Cricket Association will participate in this annual tourney.The inaugural match will be played between Minerva Cricket Club and Eleven Star Club at 9am. The tourney will be inaugurated by Rohit Bohra, MLA and president, Dholpur District Cricket Association and will be presided over by former Rajasthan Ranji captain Vinod Mathur. Many former and present Ranji players will also be present on this occasion.The teams will be divided into two pools of 4 teams each, and matches will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis. The top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals, said Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Club secretary Mohammad Iqbal and tournament secretary Ram Kishan Meena here on Tuesday.
