Alwar: A 11-year-old girl died and six others from two families sustained severe burns after an LPG cylinder exploded at a car repair workshop in Kama town of Deeg district Tuesday evening, police said.The deceased was identified as Akshara, who succumbed during treatment at RBM Hospital in Bharatpur. The remaining injured were first taken to the same hospital, from where six of them were later referred to Jaipur. Those shifted to Jaipur were identified as Manmohan, his wife Sarita (25), Bhagwan Singh (37), his wife Neeraj, their son Lakshya (8), and Sakshi (15).Bharatpur circle officer Narendra Kumar said the blast occurred at a car workshop located on Deeg Road in Kama town. According to the police, Manmohan owns the workshop, and both his family and that of his brother Bhagwan Singh live in a house built above the workshop.On Tuesday, Manmohan was repairing a car while a labourer at the workshop was carrying out repair work on the other side. A gas cylinder being used for the repair work reportedly leaked and exploded. Another cylinder kept nearby also exploded, leading to the fire, police said. tnn
