Jaipur: Chief secretary V Srinivas has instructed officials to implement the best practices of top-performing PM-SHRI schools to other schools as well.In a review meeting at the education department Wednesday, Srinivas issued directives to continue the monitoring and ranking of PM-SHRI schools and to expedite the completion of all pending tasks.He suggested organising webinars for school principals to disseminate the “best practices” adopted by the top-ranking schools to other institutions, thereby ensuring that all schools benefit from these successful strategies.He issued instructions to enhance the information and communication technology (ICT) and science laboratories within PM-SHRI schools and directed the establishment of science clubs in these schools.Speaking to media, the chief secretary said, “During the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries, while representing Rajasthan, 30 areas were assigned to the state from the central govt which needs improvement. These 30 areas like filling vacant posts of PM SHRI schools, developing ICT and science labs, improving learning outcomes among others; have been included in the Programme Implementation Plan for 2026-27. “He also placed emphasis on improving learning outcomes and addressing mental health aspects of students in govt schools.He inspected the Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK), located within the Shiksha Sankul complex, to gain a deeper understanding of the data analytics pertaining to PM-SHRI schools.
