Alwar: The Bharatpur Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team conducted an operation at Roopwas police station Monday and trapped ASI Praveen Kumar Singh while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000. The ASI ad allegedly demanded the bribe in exchange for removing the complainant’s name from an assault FIR.ACB Additional SP Amit Kumar Singh said an assault case had been registered against the complainant at Roopwas police station, ASI Praveen Kumar was probing the case. He said the ASI demanded Rs 12,000 from the complainant for removing his name from the FIR.According to the ACB, the complainant filed a complaint Sunday. After verification, the team carried out the operation Monday.
