Jaipur: Riding on yet another brilliant performance by Padmanabh Singh, Team Jaipur swept aside Team Nahargarh 7-5.5 in the opening match of the RPC Cup (Out of Hat) tournament at the Rajasthan Polo Club ground here on Tuesday.Padmanabh slammed half a dozen goals to single-handedly pilot his team to victory.Raghuram Hari added a goal to swell the tally. Other players in the team included Narendra Singh/Yogendra Singh and Shubham Gupta. For Team Nahargarh, Mayurdhwaj Singh Talabgaon struck a brace each, while Sidhant Singh and Tarun Bilwal chipped in with a goal apiece.The team also included Balbir Singh. Team Nahargarh also received an advantage of 1.5 goals.The second match of the tournament will be played on Wednesday (March 18) between Team Jaipur and Team Jaigarh.
