Jaipur: The Jaipur-based Rajasthan United Football Club went down 1-3 against Aizawl FC in the Indian Football League 2025-26 season at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl on Friday.In their first encounter on March 1, Rajasthan United Football Club held Shillong Lajong to a 1-1 draw.However in their next outing, RUFC started well but failed to gain any point from the tie.Zomuasanga gave Aizawl FC an early lead in the 12th minute before Pedro Astray equalised for Rajasthan United FC in the 32nd minute.The hosts regained the advantage in the 69th minute when Vincent Lalduhawma headed home from close range after a cross from Lalrempuia.The home side sealed the RUFC fate in stoppage time (90+5) through substitute Lalhriatpuia, who slammed in from long range.After two away matches, RUFC will play their third match at their home ground on March 13 against Namdhari FC.
