Jhunjhunu: Sikar MP Amraram Friday called upon people to march to Delhi on March 24 while addressing a public meeting at Ramlila Maidan in Neem ka Thana, where CPI(M)’s Jansangarsh Jattha arrived during its statewide mobilisation. The march was welcomed by CPI(M) workers and supporters as it passed through the region. Addressing the gathering, Amraram said the Jansangarsh Jattha is being organised to mobilise people against the policies of the Central govt. He alleged that the Centre was framing policies against the interests of farmers and labourers and criticised measures such as the Electricity Act, Seed Bill and certain international trade agreements, claiming they would adversely affect farmers and small industries. Amraram said the Jan Aakrosh Rally planned in Delhi on March 24 would raise several issues, including the withdrawal of the four labour codes, restoration of labour laws, scrapping of the Electricity Bill 2025, stopping privatisation of electricity and installation of smart meters, and cancellation of the trade deal with the US. He also criticised the state govt over the abolition of Neem ka Thana district and Sikar division, calling it an injustice to the region and saying people would respond to it in the upcoming panchayat elections.
