Jaipur: The Rajasthan State Amateur (Under-2300) FIDE Rated Chess Championship 2026, currently underway at the Subodh College campus, witnessed exciting battles as the fourth round concluded successfully in Jaipur.The championship is being organized under the aegis of the Jaipur District Chess Association (JDCA) as a selection trial (Open & Women) for the state team. The event is being conducted under the supervision of RCA Observer Mahendra Agrawal and Micro Observer Amit Gupta.The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of JDCA President Asha Bhargava, JDCA Secretary Jayendra Chaturvedi, Treasurer Madhu Mehta, and Organising Committee Chairman Ashok Bhargava, who encouraged the players and boosted their morale.Key Results (Round 4)The top-board encounter between Rudra Kavia (Jaipur, 1813) and Vikramaditya Mukheja (Jaipur, 1745) ended in a draw.Siddhant Chaturvedi (Jaipur, 1808) defeated Naik Arjun (Jaipur, 1675).Rishen Jilawa (Jaipur, 1805) registered a win against Amit Bhargava (Jaipur, 1628).Young talent AFM Aditya Dhyani (Jaipur, 1593) upset Kavyansh Jain (Jaipur, 1774).Ayush Jain (Udaipur, 1750) overcame Shreshta Jain (Jaipur, 1581).AIM Veer Kumar (Jaipur, 1746) defeated Shravan Jaiswal (Jaipur, 1522).After four rounds, the championship has reached a thrilling stage.
