Jaipur: Three members of a family were among four people killed when their vehicle collided head-on with a dumper truck in Nawa town of Didwana-Kuchaman district around 5am Wednesday.The deceased have been identified as Laxman Singh (46), his wife Tulsi (45), daughter Sheetal (22) and the driver of the car, Ramakishan (35). Police said the family was returning home to Jaipur when the dumper truck coming from the opposite direction crashed into their car.The impact of the collision left the front of the passenger car mangled, trapping all four victims inside. It took police and local villagers around 30 minutes to extricate the bodies from the wreckage, eyewitnesses said.The ill-fated family was reportedly coming back to their rented house in Paldi village near Mithri in Jaipur district at the time of the accident. All four bodies were taken to the mortuary at Nawa sub-district hospital for post-mortems.Police have impounded the dumper truck involved in the accident and launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the fatal collision.
