Jaipur: Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) Friday arrested three more accused in connection with the 2021 Junior Engineer (Civil Degree) recruitment examination paper leak case, alleging they supplied the leaked solved question paper to candidates after collecting Rs 15 lakh from each aspirant.Additional Director General of Police (SOG) Vishal Bansal said the case emerged during the investigation into the 2020 Junior Engineer Combined Recruitment Examination paper leak. Statements of arrested accused revealed that the paper for the re-conducted JE (Civil Degree) examination, held on Sept 12, 2021 after the 2020 test was cancelled, had also been leaked before the examination.Based on these findings, SOG registered a fresh FIR on Jan 19, 2026.According to investigators, the prime accused, Harshvardhan Kumar Meena alias Bablu Meena, allegedly procured the solved question paper from the paper leak syndicate before the examination and, in conspiracy with associates Rinku Kumar Sharma and Lokesh Sharma, supplied it to several candidates after charging Rs 15 lakh each.The arrested accused have been identified as Harshvardhan Kumar Meena alias Bablu Meena (41), a resident of Dausa; Rinku Kumar Sharma (38), also from Dausa; and Lokesh Sharma (50), a suspended teacher currently posted in the Chaksu CBO office. Police said further investigation is underway to identify additional beneficiaries and members of the paper leak network.
