Jaipur: Rajasthan govt plans to build a second secretariat in Jaipur, with ‘Karmayogi Bhawan’ set to come up behind Rajasthan Police headquarters at Lal Kothi to bring key govt offices, now spread across the city, under one complex.Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation Limited will be constructing the 10-storey complex on 19,205 square metres of land owned by Jaipur Metro Railway Corporation. The site is located on the northern side of the road near Laxmi Mandir underpass.Confirming the development, RSRDC project director (Jaipur) Harshita Soni has said the foundation stone is likely to be laid in November. “The 10-storied building will house offices of 25 departments of the state govt,” Soni said.The project has been estimated at Rs 283.54 crore and is expected to be completed in about 21 months.
