Jaipur: Amid heatwave predictions, school timings were revised in five more districts Friday.In Bundi, effective April 24, operating hours for all govt and private schools for classes 1 to 8 will be from 7.30am to 12pm. The schedule will remain in force till the commencement of summer vacations.In Alwar, timings for all govt and private schools from pre-primary to class 8 have been changed to 7.30am to 12pm from April 27. However, timings for classes 9 to 12 and staff will remain unchanged. In Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, the same schedule came into effect from Friday for students up to class 8.In Karauli, schools for classes 1 to 8 will function from 7.30am to 11am from April 27 to May 16. In Phalodi, schools from nursery to class 8 will operate from 7.30am to 12 noon from Saturday.Meanwhile, the Jaipur district administration revised working hours under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme in view of severe heatwave conditions. From May 2 until further orders, work timings will be 7am to 3pm, with a rest break from 11am to 12pm.School timings have already been changed in Jaipur for students up to class 8, and in Kota for all students up to class 12.
