Jaipur: The traffic signal at Chourdia Petrol Pump intersection in Sanganer has remained shut for nearly two months due to ongoing construction of the Sanganer elevated road.ACP Traffic-East Son Chand Verma said that traffic personnel have been deployed at key points to manually regulate traffic flow. He said there is no fixed deadline for completion of the elevated road work, which is expected to continue for around two years. “During the construction period, closure of signals and manual traffic management at some points may be required depending on the situation,” he added. The prolonged closure has led to congestion at the intersection, with commuters facing delays and increased risk of accidents.
