Jaipur: A 35-year-old man posted in the sales tax department died in a road accident in Jaipur Wednesday afternoon after his motorcycle crashed into a car in Bajaj Nagar area, police said.Police have identified the deceased as Anil Choudhary (35), a resident of Bhomiya Nagar in Jhotwara.According to police, Choudhary was posted in the sales tax department and was travelling from his office in Jhalana to another office near Statue Circle on a power bike.The accident occurred around 3.30pm near AG Colony in Bajaj Nagar when his speeding motorcycle allegedly rammed into a car emerging from a road cut.Officials said the impact threw him onto the road, leaving him critically injured.Police rushed him to Jaipuria Hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination.Head constable Sardar Singh said the body has been kept at the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.Police have seized the car involved in the accident and detained its driver, identified as Deepak Sharma.Further investigation is under way.
