Jaipur: Rajasthan’s Nilesh Kumar won the bronze medal at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship held recently in Thimphu, Bhutan.According to the president of the Rajasthan State Body Building Association (RSBBA), Naveen Yadav, finished third in the men’s sports physique 170-cm category while representing India. The five-day competition featured over 100 athletes from seven South Asian countries.The 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2026 was held in Thimphu from June 30 to July 4. The tournament took place at the Clock Tower Square, featuring over 100 athletes from seven South Asian countries.Upon receiving the medal, the RSBBA secretary, Ashok Audichaya, along with vice-president Rakesh Yadav and all officials of the Rajasthan State Body Building Association, congratulated him.Yadav stated that for the past four years, Rajasthan’s bodybuilders have been consistently winning medals at the national and world championship levels.
