Jaipur: The Rajasthan govt Friday extended the relaxation on the statewide transfer ban for govt officers and employees by five days, now allowing transfers until July 10.The exemption, however, will not apply to Grade III teachers in the education department and medical department employees due to administrative requirements and the heightened risk of seasonal diseases during the monsoon. The administrative reforms and coordination department issued the order as an extension of its June 19 notification, under which the relaxation window was earlier scheduled to end on July 5.As per the policy, priority in transfers will continue to be given to single women, widows, abandoned women, and employees suffering from life-threatening illnesses such as cancer or serious brain, heart, lung or kidney diseases, subject to certification by a competent medical board.Preference will also be given to employees with long service, persons with disabilities, and husband-wife cases. The order covers government departments, corporations, boards and autonomous bodies.
