Ajmer: Out of 21,541 candidates, more than 3,500 were absent Wednesday during the second day of RAS Mains 2024 exam. RPSC claimed that the exam on both days was conducted peacefully, and officials inspected several centres in Jaipur and Ajmer.There were 21,541 candidates called for the exam Wednesday, with 83.52% appearing in the first session, which was the General Studies Paper 3. In Jaipur, 12,413 candidates were registered, and 1,983 candidates were absent, resulting in an 84.02% attendance rate. In Ajmer, 9,128 candidates were registered, 1,568 were absent, and 82.82% attended the exam.Similarly, in the second session for General Hindi and General English exam, 3,577 candidates were absent, and 83.39% appeared. In Jaipur, 2,000 candidates were absent, and 83.89% attended. In Ajmer, 1,577 candidates were absent, and 82.72% appeared for the exam. RPSC secretary Ramniwas Mehta said the exam was conducted peacefully.
