Alwar: Two 13-year-old twin brothers were found murdered in Badesra village of Deeg district Tuesday morning, with police alleging their widowed mother conspired with her paramour to kill them because the boys opposed the relationship. The victims, identified as Vinay and Vishnu Chaudhary, were discovered dead in a plot near their house around 6am. Their maternal aunt had raised the alarm when the twins failed to return after leaving home early Tuesday, following which a search was launched.Deeg superintendent of police Kambale Sharan Gopinath said the twins’ throats had been slit and injuries inflicted on their heads. Police said both bodies bore multiple cut marks and head injuries.According to investigators, the mother, Preeti, called her paramour to the house, where he and her 16-year-old elder son carried out the killings at her behest. All three were taken into custody and are being questioned.Investigators claimed the twins had become an “obstacle” to the mother’s relationship with her paramour – a resident of the same village – while their elder brother supported their mother.Police said Preeti was married to her now-deceased husband Niranjan Singh, a resident of Saroth Mansa village in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh, 20 years ago. The couple had four children – an 18-year-old daughter, a 16-year-old son, and the 13-year-old twin brothers.Preeti and her four children had moved to her parental home in Badesra after Singh’s death several years ago.
