Jaipur: In a key pre-election move, Jaipur Municipal Corporation–Greater has announced a revised development budget, introducing separate allocations for developed and underdeveloped wards for the first time.Under the new plan, developed wards will receive Rs 50 lakh each, while underdeveloped ones are set to get Rs 2 crore. The total allocation across 150 wards stands at approximately Rs135 crore. This marks a shift from the previous policy of equal funding for all wards. The new focus aims to address long-standing gaps in civic infrastructure.
