Jaipur: Inaya Andrabi and Veer Shringi of Rajasthan Squash Academy, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, secured bronze medals in their respective age categories at the 3rd Eastern Challenger 2026 squash tournament held in Kolkata.Surbhi Misra, director of Rajasthan Squash Academy and former international player, said on Wednesday that the tournament was organised under the aegis of the Squash Racket Federation of India (SRFI) at the Saturday Club, Kolkata from April 11 to 15.In the U-11 girls category, Inaya Andrabi defeated Tamil Nadu’s JN Iniya 11-4, 11-2, 11-4 in the quarterfinals to enter the semifinals. However, she went down fighting to second seed Avisha Agarwal of Jharkhand 7-11, 11-5, 11-8, 12-10 in the semis.Inaya bounced back in the bronze medal match, beating Jharkhand’s Anaysha Sahu 11-8, 11-8, 11-5 to finish third.In the U-13 boys section, Veer Shringi grabbed the bronze medal after shocking second seed Nirvaan Uppal of Delhi 11-7, 11-7, 11-7. Earlier, Veer had stormed into the semifinals with a commanding 11-6, 11-3, 11-2 win over Delhi’s Aviraj Ghai in the quarters. He lost to Uttar Pradesh’s Ridaan Gupta 11-6, 12-10, 11-3 in the semifinal.
