JAIPUR: A family of four was found dead inside their house in Rajasthan’s Phalodi district on Tuesday, with police suspecting that a 35-year-old man strangled his wife and two children before dying by suicide.The bodies were recovered from their home in the Dechu area, where the man was found hanging while his wife and two children were lying dead on a cot, police said.“The husband was found hanging while his wife and two children were lying on a cot. Prima facie, the husband strangled his wife and two children and then hanged himself,” Superintendent of Police Satnam Singh said.A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory visited the spot, examined the bodies and collected evidence as part of the investigation.Station House Officer of Dechu police station Vikram Singh identified the deceased as Gena Ram (35), his wife Pushpa (32), daughter Khushbu (13) and son Kishan (10).Police said the motive behind the suspected murder-suicide was not immediately known.“Reasons for the murder and suicide are not yet clear,” he said, adding the matter was being investigated.(With PTI inputs)
