Udaipur: Ashish Bhagora (40), son of late former minister and BJP MP Mahavir Bhagora, was discovered dead in what appears to be a case of suicide at his library in the Amba Mata area of Udaipur Saturday morning.Bhagora, who operated a 24-hour library facility, was found by students who arrived for their morning study session. Students called him but when there was no response, they somehow entered the room and found him dead, police said.According to Mukesh Soni, SHO of Amba Mata police station, the body was found on the floor with a piece of cloth hanging from the ceiling in the library room.“While initial evidence suggests suicide by hanging, the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report,” said Soni.Local sources told TOI that Bhagora had been experiencing stress recently, though the specific reasons remain unknown. BJP member Mahavir Bhagora served as minister, MLA and MP from the former Salumber Lok Sabha constituency before succumbing to Covid-19 four years ago. tnn
