Kumar said he had approached the court through his lawyer to become a party to the case.According to the FIR, Kumar called Jha around 3.20pm on Oct 6 to propose a joint meeting with officials of the state govt, Jaipur Development Authority and Housing Board to discuss reducing the rates. Their conversation lasted around 24 to 25 minutes, after which Jha allegedly asked Kumar to meet him in person.Kumar alleged that Jha then discussed taking him into a bathroom and spraying insecticide on him, claiming he would die after inhaling it. Kumar said the recording made him fear for his life and suspect a conspiracy against him.He has sought legal action against Jha and others allegedly involved, along with protection for himself and his family. He said fear had initially deterred him from approaching police. His complaint, dated Oct 10, 2026, included a pen drive containing the recording, an expert’s report and a certificate.
