Chief minister leads Alwar roadshow ahead of local civic polls

Alwar: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a roadshow Monday in Alwar for the upcoming municipal corporation elections. During the roadshow, the chief minister was honoured by traders in the market. Sharma also visited Jagannath Temple here. After the roadshow, the chief minister addressed the public and lashed out at Congress party. He alleged that Congress members indulge in politics of corruption, appeasement, lies and loot.Talking about BJP the CM said that they party works by connecting with the public and staying among the public. He asked the people to add a third engine to the two-engine govt by voting for the party in the local civic elections.He also talked about how in earlier times elections would continue for a full two years, followed by panchayat elections. Sharma said that BJP will implement ‘One State, One Election.’Speaking to the media, Sharma said that public’s trust in the govt has increased under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He said the state govt is also working tirelessly to provide employment to youth, and creating opportunities in private sectors.Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, minister of state Sanjay Sharma, former MP Dr. Karan Singh, Ramgarh MLA Sukhwant Singh, along with many senior BJP members, were also present at the event.
