JAIPUR: At least three children were killed and three others were injured after a water tank wall collapsed on them at a factory construction site in Bhiwadi town of Rajasthan‘s Khairthal-Tijara district, police said on Tuesday.The incident took place at an under-construction factory on Old Samtal Road in Bhiwadi’s industrial area, police said.According to officials, four-year-old Meenu Sharma died on the spot, while two injured boys — Jyotish Sharma (8) and Shivam (12) — were rushed to a hospital in Delhi. Both later succumbed to their injuries during treatment late Monday night.Three other injured persons — Shrimani (40), Jeetu (25) and Aruna (40) — are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhiwadi. Doctors said their condition remains critical.Bhiwadi deputy superintendent of police Pradeep Nehra said the victims were near the water tank when its wall suddenly collapsed on them.
