Jhunjhunu: A 14-year-old student of Class 9 at a private institute in Sikar allegedly hanging himself Wednesday in the rented house where he lived with his mother and sister in Udyog Nagar police station area. He had come to Sikar with his family in April this year. Police did not find any suicide note at the spot. ASI Ranglal of Udyog Nagar police station said the boy, Giriraj, was a native of Narda village in Patan police station area. He hanged himself with a chunni from a door frame. Police are investigating the reasons for the suicide, the ASI said.
