Jaipur: The state police arrested a 22-year-old third-year law student in Bikaner Saturday for running a cyber fraud gang that supplied mule bank accounts to criminals and played a key role in digital arrest scams reported in Maharashtra and Uttarakhand. Police said one of the FIRs against him was registered at Mumbai’s Cuffe Parade police station. The accused, Pramod Godara, had been under police surveillance for six months. He is accused of leading a network that opened dozens of mule bank accounts through which crores of rupees from cyber scams were routed.
