Kota: A newborn baby died at a govt sub-district hospital in Dug town of Jhalawar district when a doctor allegedly refused to attend to it when the infant’s condition deteriorated late Thursday night.Taking immediate action, the doctor and a nursing staff member were put on awaiting posting order (APO) on Friday. Mahendra Singh, a resident of Chokdi village in Jhalawar, admitted his pregnant wife, Bhawana Kanwar (30), with labour pain at hospital at around 9pm on Thursday. An hour later, the woman delivered a baby at 10pm. The baby started crying at around 3am Friday early morning, following which the family called the nursing staff, Prashant Mehar, on duty. tnn
