Jaipur: BJP has begun preparing its social media strategy for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, with a special focus on Instagram to reach young voters and strengthen its digital outreach alongside grassroots campaigning.BJP national social media convener Deepak Mahaske, who visited Jaipur Monday, said the next general election would be fought both on the ground and across digital platforms. The party plans to use all major social media platforms to communicate its message.“Social media has become an important medium of politics. BJP is fighting a major battle on this platform as well. We are working to ensure that the party’s message reaches people effectively,” he said.Taking a dig at Congress over its claim that 10 lakh people attended its rally in Delhi, Mahaske said the actual turnout was nowhere near the figure. On the controversy surrounding the term ‘Gen Z’ on social media, Mahaske said BJP did not use the expression. “They are our youth and our children. This term has been used by the Opposition,” he said, accusing it of creating misleading narratives.
