Udaipur: The Surat-Udaipur City-Surat Vande Bharat Express services will begin with an inaugural special on Oct 2, followed by regular operations from Oct 3. The train will run six days a week, except Tuesdays.North Western Railway chief public relations officer Amit Sudarshan said train number 09103, the Surat-Udaipur City inaugural special, would leave Surat at 10am on Oct 2 and reach Udaipur City at 5.40pm.It will stop at Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarwa, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur and Jawar. The inaugural service will have eight Vande Bharat coaches.The service will subsequently operate as train numbers 26903/26904. Train number 26904 will leave Udaipur City at 3.35pm and reach Surat at 11pm from Oct 3.Train number 26903 will leave Surat at 6.10am and reach Udaipur City at 1.40pm from Oct 4. Both regular services will stop at the same nine stations and have eight-coach Vande Bharat rakes.Train numbers 26963/26964, the Udaipur City-Asarwa-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express, will be discontinued from Oct 2.
