Bike of the deceased lying at the accident site
Jaisalmer: A 19-year-old Class 12 student was killed in a road accident Thursday in the Shiv police station area of Barmer district while returning home from school on his motorcycle.The deceased, Jitendra Singh, was riding home along State Highway 65 when a truck approaching from the opposite direction collided with his motorcycle near Ratanuon Ki Dhani village. Singh, along with his motorcycle, was thrown 25 feet off the highway and died on the spot.Police registered a case against the truck driver for negligent driving causing death. The truck and the motorcycle have been seized.
