Jaisalmer: A 30-year-old farmer was electrocuted in Mohangarh police station area of Jaisalmer district, Friday, police said.The deceased, identified as Vishnaram Vishnoi, came into contact with an electrified fence at 13LM Nure Khan Ki Dhani, where a broken high-voltage cable had fallen onto the fence wire, electrifying an area spanning nearly eight kilometers.According to police, Vishnoi was a native of Bhinyasar village in Phalodi district. His neighbour, Lune Khan had alerted the electricity department’s grid substation when he heard a loud explosion.Police said the post-mortem will be conducted after arrival of the family members.
