Ajmer/Jaisalmer/Bhilwara: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Saturday declared the final results of the Rajasthan Administrative and Allied Services Examination-2024, a day after concluding interviews, with candidates from border districts securing top ranks. The commission also released the names of the top 20 successful candidates in order of merit. Barmer’s Dinesh Vishnoi topped the merit list, followed by Jaisalmer’s Virendra Charan at second and Bhilwara’s Navneet Mukesh Kumar Sharma at third. Four women featured among the top 20 candidates of RAS 2024 results. Vishnoi, a resident of Bhalisar village in Barmer’s Dhorimanna area, had earlier secured an RPS cadre in 2023 and is currently undergoing training in Jaipur. His father, Ramdhan Manju, is a retired district education officer. Virendra Charan, from Rampuriya village in Pokhran constituency of Jaisalmer, is the son of a Rajasthan Police head constable posted at Tanot. He had earlier been selected as tehsildar and is undergoing training. Navneet Sharma, 24, from Barathiya village in Bhilwara’s Gulabpura subdivision, secured third rank through self-study. He is currently undergoing tehsildar training after securing 87th rank in the previous exam. Among women candidates, Aishwariya Kanwar (Bikaner) secured 6th rank, Shallu (Anoopgarh) 8th, while Tanisha Yadav and Vrinda Shekhawat from Jaipur ranked 19th and 20th. RPSC secretary Ramniwas Mehta said the recruitment was conducted for 1,096 posts, including 428 in Rajasthan Administrative Service and 668 in allied services. A total of 2,391 candidates made it to the final merit list out of 2,461 interviewed.
