Jaipur: Fourteen students of Govt Senior Secondary School in Ganipur, Dausa district, fell ill after allegedly consuming poisonous Ratanjot seeds on the school premises.The students began complaining of vomiting and diarrhoea soon after eating the seeds, following which school authorities alerted the health department. As their condition worsened, they were rushed to the sub-district hospital in Sikrai for treatment.Dausa chief medical and health officer Seeta Ram Meena said one student had brought Ratanjot seeds to school and distributed them among other girls. “All of them consumed the seeds, after which their health condition deteriorated.”The students were treated at the hospital and later discharged after their condition improved.
