Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Saturday urged the youth to move towards entrepreneurship and become job creators rather than job seekers. Addressing the International Vaishya Mahasammelan at Bhankrota, he said the vision of a developed Rajasthan by 2047 cannot be achieved without the cooperation and progress of the Vaishya community.The CM said experienced traders in the community possess valuable knowledge and practical experience that should be passed on to the younger generation to encourage start-ups and small enterprises. He noted that members of the Vaishya community, both in India and abroad, remain closely connected with social welfare activities and their cultural roots.Highlighting the role of the community, Sharma said the Vaishya community has long served as the economic backbone of the nation. “For thousands of years, this community contributed to sustaining the country’s economy through hard work, business acumen and honesty,” he said.Deputy chief minister Diya Kumari and BJP state president Madan Rathore highlighted the role of the Vaishya community in strengthening trade, tourism and business in the state.
