Jhunjhunu: In Manphara village of Jhunjhunu, Mandrela police arrested a young man for allegedly attacking a woman with a knife to kill her Friday. After the incident, accused attempted suicide by consuming poison but was arrested after being discharged from the hospital following treatment.Station Officer Suresh Kumar Rolan stated that accused Pramod Meghwal attacked a young woman August 5, 25. Both were referred to BDK Hospital in injured state after initial treatment. Police registered a case based on victim’s statement.Accused Pramod was later brought to station for questioning where he confessed the crime, leading to his arrest. Police also recovered the knife used during crime.
