Jaipur: A 27-year-old woman in the city ended her life along with her one-and-a-half-year-old son by jumping in front of a moving train Tuesday. SHO (Malpura Gate) Munindra Singh said Priya Singh, a resident of Sundar Vihar near Sitapura, jumped before the train at Govardhan Nagar railway crossing. The impact flung the bodies away from the tracks, leaving them mutilated. The bodies were initially listed as unidentified until her family recognised the child’s clothes.Singh said Priya’s husband allegedly ran up debts worth several lakhs. Creditors frequently visited their home demanding money, leading Priya to move back to her parental house in Sitapura with her son.On Monday, her husband came to take her back, but she said she would only return once the debts were cleared or the creditors dealt with. An argument soon ensued, after which her husband left. tnn
