Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court Wednesday directed the director general of police and the treasury officer to withhold salary and allowances of the investigating officer of a criminal case registered at Chandwaji police station for failure to appear for testimony in the trial court. The court said the salary should not be released until he appears in the trial court for testimony or until the high court grants him relief. The HC fixed the next hearing of the case for Dec 2.
