Udaipur: Tourism ministers from states will converge in Udaipur for a two-day national conference beginning Oct 14. The brainstorming event, organised by the Union govt, aims to deliberate on guidelines for sustainable tourism, develop new circuits, and strengthen collaboration between the Centre and states to promote destinations collectively.The conference will be attended by governors of several states, Union and state tourism ministers, and senior govt officials. Rajasthan will be represented by deputy chief minister Diya Kumari, who also holds the tourism portfolio.Udaipur collector Namit Mehta held a preparatory meeting Friday with officials to review arrangements.
