Udaipur to Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train flagged off

Udaipur: The Udaipur City-Asarwa (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat train was flagged off at Udaipur station for passenger convenience, Monday.Mannalal Rawat, MP from Udaipur, C P Joshi, MP from Chittorgarh and divisional railway manager Raju Bhutada inaugurated the new Vande Bharat rail service. The public enthusiastically welcomed the inaugural rail service at Dungarpur station where it was flagged off by MP Udaipur Mannalal Rawat and MP Dungarpur Rajkumar Raut. Assistant commercial manager Rajkumar Swarnakar along with other railway officials and employees was present on the occasion. The train is equipped with eight state-of-the-art coaches, providing passengers with facilities like automatic sliding doors, comfortable reclining seats, CCTV surveillance, charging points and catering. The new rail service will operate as regular train number 26963/26964, Udaipur City-Ahmedabad (Asarwa)-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express, six days a week (except Tuesday) from Feb 18. Train number 26963, Udaipur City-Ahmedabad (Asarwa) Vande Bharat Express rail service will depart from Udaipur City at 6.10 am and reach Asarwa at 10.25 am. Train number 26964, Ahmedabad (Asarwa)-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express rail service will depart from Asarwa at 5.45 pm and reach Udaipur City at 10 pm. The rail service will have stoppages at Zawar, Dungarpur and Himmatnagar stations. The regular rail service will have seven air-conditioned chair car and one executive air-conditioned chair car class coaches.
