Jaipur: A 53-year-old man working as medical director in Udaipur was killed while deboarding the Udaipur-Khajuraho Express Monday morning. The govt railway police (GRP) registered a case and handed over the body to the family after a postmortem.According to GRP police, the incident took place around 5:35am Monday when the man, identified as Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, was disembarking. “He did not wake up at 5:30am. Later, he fell while rushing off the train when it had already started for the next destination, and slipped under the platform,” said Arun Chaudhary, in-charge of the GRP police station.Bhardwaj’s family was informed about the incident. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) GRP Jagdish Meena took the body for the postmortem. Along with handing over the body to the family, GRP police also handed over gold items, an iPhone, and Rs 61,160 found in Bhardwaj’s wallet. TNN
