Jhunjhunu: Members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal created a commotion, alleging religious conversion, at a church in Shanti Nagar area of Sikar city Wednesday, after which police detained 17 people from both sides for questioning. After interrogating them, police released everyone. Subsequently, both sides filed cases against each other at Udyog Nagar police station.Gaurav Dixit from the side of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal filed a case accusing religious conversion, while the church pastor, Selvan, filed a case against Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists for entering the church and engaging in assault and misconduct. Additional SP Gajendra Singh Jodha said that police reached the spot where both parties were arguing. They were brought to Udyog Nagar police station for questioning. tnn
