Jodhpur: Police arrested two persons for firing at a property dealer in the Jhalamand area on Monday morning. A pistol and a cartridge were also seized from the accused. Both the accused and the victim had a previous record of rivalry owing to land deals, despite a couple of attempts at compromise. Police commissioner Om Prakash said that the main accused, Ravi Bishnoi, and an accomplice, Rakesh Bishnoi, have been arrested, and search for others involved in the incident is on. Incident took place in Jhalamand Monday morning at 8 am when the accused called the victim, Nathu Ram Prajapat, to meet him.“Prajapat arrived here with his brother and father. As soon as he got down from his Scorpio, Bishnoi opened fire, which hit his brother in the leg and the accused fled from the spot,” said the official. Members of community began gathering at Jhalamand Circle, demanding the arrest of the accused.
