Jaipur: The Regional Transport Office Jaipur (I) Friday started proceedings to suspend the registration certificate (RC) of the motorcycle bearing the number RJ29 SY 9176 of two youth for allegedly harassing a woman near New Sanganer Road. A video of the incident went viral Thursday.Additionally, the process of suspending the driving licences of both youths riding the bike was also started.Officials said that challans were issued against them on charges of driving dangerously without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate and without insurance coverage.RTO Rajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “The driving licences of both youths were confiscated, and they will be barred from holding a licence for a period of one year. There will be absolutely no compromise regarding the safety and security of women, and the Transport Department will continue to take strict action against such miscreants in the future.”
