Jaipur: After the bus accident in Jaipur’s Manoharpur, the state transport department instructed all regional transport officers to take strict action against buses registered without having the bus body checked.The department instructed that notices should be issued to owners of all buses registered without the bus body being ready. The department also asked RTOs to check officials involved in this process and take action accordingly.The department asked RTOs to register an FIR against both the bus owner and the official involved in issuing the permits. The department gave a 3-day deadline to RTOs to take action.
