Jaipur: Two miscreants posing as garbage collectors stole a water motor from a businessman’s house in broad daylight in the Moti Doongri Road area.Police said the family went out for work on Oct 27 when the thieves conducted reconnaissance under the pretext of collecting garbage. CCTV footage later showed the duo loitering near an empty plot close to the house before one of them scaled the wall and entered the premises while the other stood guard.The intruder stole the water motor installed in the garden and fled by jumping over the wall. When the family returned in the evening, they discovered the theft and later lodged a complaint at the police station.Police have obtained CCTV footage showing the miscreants’ movements and are analysing it to identify the accused. Officials said the men appeared familiar with the area and may be linked to other similar thefts recently reported in the locality.
