Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court ruled as invalid the summons issued by a family court to an Army soldier via WhatsApp while also quashing a subsequent maintenance order passed by it.A single bench of Justice Anoop Kumar Dhand maintained such summons can only be issued through special procedures established by the legislature for serving defence personnel. The Oct 10 order was issued while hearing a revision petition filed against the maintenance order passed by a family court.
