Jaipur: As part of an ongoing crackdown against organised crime, police Thursday arrested six accused, including shooter of the Rohit Godara–Virendra Charan gang, and detained one minor near Ramgarh village in Hanumangarh.SP (Hanumangarh) Hari Shankar said that police also recovered three foreign-made pistols, five magazines, and 70 live cartridges from their possession. The arrests come as part of an intensified crackdown on gang networks operating across Rajasthan and Haryana. According to police, a constable received a tip-off that Vikas alias Raju alias Pawan alias Shooter, a known history-sheeter from Ujjalwas, was planning a major armed strike with associates. Acting swiftly, the police team and District Special Team (DST) raided the area near Ramgarh, where several suspects tried to flee upon seeing the police. All seven were apprehended after a brief chase. The accused have been identified as Vikas alias Raju alias Pawan alias Shooter (29), Rajesh (22) from Sirsa in Haryana, Rajuram (22), Rupendra (20), Mukesh (19), Parth Rathore (20), and a detained minor. Police said the accused were preparing to execute a violent crime to assert the gang’s dominance.
