Kota: Kota City SP Tejeshwani Gautam Saturday ordered that the SHO of RK Puram police station and the entire 6-member district special team (DST) be attached to police lines for negligence and directed an inquiry after a decoy operation by police Friday night led to arrest of 12 people caught gambling at a farmhouse. The SHO, Sandeep Vishnoi, DST in-charge Pushpendra Banshiwal, and five members of the DST team were sent to lines and additional SP Niyati Sharma entrusted with investigation of the case. Sharma has been asked to submit her report within three days, the SP said.“If gambling, betting, or illegal liquor activities are found to be taking place with the knowledge or connivance of the police, legal as well as strict disciplinary action will be taken against them,” Gautam said. tnn
